About Us

Business Portraits was founded by Matthew Dickens, a professional, versatile photographer with over 30 years’ experience within the business.

Matthew began his career in National Newspapers, working across news, features and sport. He has worked extensively within the business and sports marketing sectors throughout his career and his work has appeared in news titles, on websites, in annual reports and marketing literature around the globe. His clients include some of the biggest names in business and sport, but he is just as versed in shooting images for SME’s, charities and small start-ups.

Career highlights include being the chief photographer for the British Team at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games as well as World Sailings photographer for London 2012. He has earned himself a stellar reputation within the industry for taking exceptional images, that really enhance the profile and reputation of each individual client.

Business Portraits have a number of portable studio options, allowing our photographers to bring everything needed to create great imagery in your work place. But assignments and locations vary extensively from the comfort of an office, home or city environment, to construction sites, aboard boats in rough seas and even from the sky, strapped to the edge of a doorless helicopter! However challenging the brief, Matthew and the team have a wealth of experience in creating memorable images.

We work with you to create the right photography style to enhance your corporate communications, marketing strategy and media plans. Our work is always based on your requirements, framed by your corporate and brand values.

Technology

We are constantly investing in technology that improves the service we offer, be that camera, software or computer hardware.

Out investment also allows images to be reviewed on a lap top live as they are shot, enabling you to almost see through the photographer’s eyes during the shoot. With all portrait shoots we can make time for a review by the subject too, ensuring that they are happy with their look on the day and shooting more if they want to make adjustments.
